Sorry, I just think MP is highly overrated and if I heard NO ONE EXPECTS THE SPANISH INQUISITION! one more time I would have punched one of them directly in their earnest mouths.
As Andrew has pointed out to me his dislike for The Mighty Boosh because everyone likes it that reminds me of how in my grade school Monty Python wasn’t that popular, making it all the more lonesome and excellent to know about it. It seems like finding out about niche humor through quiet, personal means makes the experience all the more enjoyable. So when everyone harps about its greatness it only cause the effect to diminish.
Yes, I understand why Monty Python is annoying and why it bores some people. Am I insulted when someone takes a dig on a cultural item? No, that’s just stupid. I actually want to hear more dissonant opinions because I get tired of thinking everything I like is the shit.
