Happy New Years Eve to everyone in my Internet.  In honor of this often disappointing but never boring holiday, I share with you my NYE tattoo (placement based on proximity to my heart).

31.12.2003 is the date that someone very close to me past away.  He died at 5AM NYE morning.  Since 2003, I have had pretty shaky NYE celebrations (although I now know that there is camaraderie in hating this holiday so cheers to that).  Tonight I will be with all of my closest friends, in BK.  Celebrating in my Puerto Rican dress and about 5 layers of stockings…happily closing this decade and looking forward to the next. 

Every year that passes without you is a year I thank you for my life and the preparation you gave me.
